Our lifestyles cuisine conscious coconut-corn chowder is vegan and gluten free. The creamy
texture comes from coconut milk rather than dairy – roasted sweet corn puree with coconut
milk and caramelized onion, garnished with fresh green jalapeno, lime and cilantro

COCONUT-CORN CHOWDER Recipe: 2 oz olive oil 2 large onions 1 jalapeno 16 oz shucked corn ½ L coconut milk sea salt white pepper
- Heat olive oil
- Lightly seat onions in jalapeno
- Add corn, sautee 15-20 min
- Add coconut milk and 1 litre water
- Allow to cook and reduce to desired consistency
- Finish with salt and pepper
- Chopped cilantro

we are considering oru for an early dinner (1730) for our daughter + 5 friends. we understand all to be vegetarians – so, question is … can your risotto and gnocchi side dishes be dressed up to entree size? we see a good selection in the front end for their tastes (greens, cheese, soup), just a little concerned up the main show. kindly advise. best, mark r.
absolutely, we can accomodate anything you like- we have a good variety of house-made gnocchis and raviolis at any given time, several risottos, we do a great dish with mushrooms and Farro thats similar to a risotto as well… regardless, once you’re here, we can chat and we’ll customize something for you
